"Every Pull Changes It"
We reach for tissues when we’re sick, sad, having a meal, or tidying up, yet the tissue case is usually an afterthought. Case turns that ordinary ritual into a timeline of use.
Two parenthesis-like shells form a clamp that holds a stack of tissues. As you pull, the stack lowers and the shells subtly shift, marking time like an hourglass. It’s an object that makes a daily habit feel intentional. You decide the amount of tissue the object holds, so you “prepare” just enough for the day, like hotels and restaurants do.
Inspired by the gesture of temple curved roofs and altar tables used in ritual, Case distills that influence into calm motion. Functional, modular, and poetic, it’s also a perfect gift: an everyday object elevated into something you notice, use, and keep.
